A young couple who had been looking to buy a property to live in for most of 2019 employed me in November to evaluate a property they had found in Stanmore and to bid at auction on their behalf. We were well and truly outbid so they decided to employ me to find them a property. We increased the number of suburbs for our search and quickly narrowed down their non negotiable criteria for a property. When we inspected 50 Church St, it ticked all their boxes and was a house they could see themselves living in for many years to come. However, there were numerous contracts out and several buyers had purchased the building and pest reports. With two weeks to go til auction we decided to put in a good offer and take the property off the market.  If we let the property go to auction we felt given the strength of the buyer pool that the price could exceed our budget. After a little negotiation we reached agreement on price and my clients are now the proud owners of a wonderful family home.
