Our American clients bought their apartment in the Bennelong off the plan 20 years ago. After many enjoyable trips to Sydney they decided their life was taking them in other directions.
We were employed to arrange the sale of their apartment acting as Vendor’s Advocates. We chose 3 experienced local Sydney agents to appraise the property and give us their marketing proposal.
We assessed the merits and discussed each proposal with the vendors to assist them with agent selection.
Following agent appointment, we decluttered and depersonalised the apartment, arranged for some paint repairs and styled a couple of the rooms.
Once the agent started marketing the apartment, we managed all daily reports and weekly written reports and liaised with the agent and vendors.
Throughout the campaign we regularly discussed strategy. As needed, we made changes to the marketing approach. A decision was made to transition from auction to expressions of interest to accommodate interested buyers who were needing more time to arrange finance.
We successfully sold the apartment and the vendor is thrilled that the sale process was completely stress free.
