Since co-founding Rose & Jones in 1998 alongside his wife Rachel, Byron has established himself as one of Australia's most respected and experienced property advisers, helping shape the buyer's agency industry while guiding clients through some of the country's most significant property transactions.
With more than 36 years of experience spanning property acquisition, leasing, asset management and investment strategy, Byron brings a unique perspective across residential, retail, commercial and industrial property. His extensive market knowledge, analytical approach and proven negotiation expertise have helped thousands of clients make informed property decisions and build long-term wealth through real estate.
Under Byron's leadership, Rose & Jones has become one of Australia's longest-standing and most highly regarded exclusive buyer's agencies. Since the company's inception, Byron and his team have inspected more than 31,000 residential and commercial properties and secured over 1,600 acquisitions on behalf of clients, representing more than $5.5 billion in property transactions.
Before establishing Rose & Jones, Byron spent six years with global commercial property services firm Jones Lang LaSalle before moving into the management and development of a private property portfolio valued at more than $200 million. This combination of institutional and private-sector experience continues to shape his strategic and commercially minded approach to property advice.
Beyond his work with clients, Byron has been a passionate advocate for the buyer's agency profession. He is a founding member of the NSW Real Estate Institute's Buyer's Agency Chapter and served on its executive committee for more than 15 years. He has also served as President of the Real Estate Buyers Agents Association of Australia (REBAA), helping establish professional standards, industry advocacy initiatives and a code of ethics that continues to guide buyer's agents across Australia.
Recognising growing demand from interstate and regional clients, Byron spearheaded the expansion of Rose & Jones into Queensland in 2020, establishing the firm's Gold Coast presence and extending services across the Gold Coast, Northern Rivers and Byron Bay regions.
