It also had to be located in a strong location within reasonable proximity of the beach and local amenity.

After considering varying options, we inspected a townhouse in a small block in the blue chip suburb of Mermaid Waters. The floorplan offered the desired space and separation and also featured a large, private outdoor terrace area. After some light cosmetic works we expect the rental return to generate a gross yield of c. 5%.
