Rose & Jones were retained by a client looking to acquire multiple properties for retirement. They had specific requirements which needed to be met in order to do so. Sally sourced and secured two off market properties in two separate transactions however at the same time and part of the same development. Lot Lot 8, leased to Fruitologist, was on the market for a short time in May/June 2018. Sally went and saw this property and then walked around the whole of the  Nagurra Place/ Terry Street Precinct and asked the agent if we could purchase any of the others and was met with a luke warm response. The vendors took the property off the market as they were going to wait until the new strata plan went through and was registered before offering the properties for sale, probably in December 2018. Negotiations took several weeks and once price was agreed the legal took several weeks as there were various licences for each property that provide income to the landlord that had to be sorted that were affected by the new strata plan.
